Fall Fun--5 Months
Lily is growing big and strong and fall time is here. I really wanted to capture her in the fall leaves outside our home. She is such a happy and fun baby, we are enjoying watching her grow and develop every day. She is starting to like her rice cereal and baby foods, Time also gave her some tastes of tomato soup the other day! Also she is good at grabbing her toy and finding it fun to drop it on the floor. May the fun games begin! Other fun things she is doing ... she is making tiger/dinosaur growls at us... so cute and trying to talk or just mimic the sounds we make. She is wearing the 3-6month clothes and in a 2 diaper. She is still getting breastmilk, but also getting formula about 50% of the time. She is starting to prefer the bottle, so I am debating at this current time if I want to continue pumping or just use formula... Oh man I hate making these big decisions, I know breastmilk is the best, but pumping is alot of work and just inconvenient. I know I Know, I should just pump, but I just don't know. She tolerates the formula just fine, I guess we will see.
I enjoy reading the Bible to her daily. I know it may just be going over her head, but I feel that is good to start developing these habits now so that we are always doing them as she grows up. Plus I think little ones soak up more than we know... I want her to know how important God's word is to us as a family and pray she grows up to have her own hunger for the things of God.

Almost 5 months!
Our little flower... so precious.
An update on Lily: She is still sleeping through the night, loves to smile and giggle. Lily can rollover and sit with assist. She loves to sit up and stand on her little legs. She seems to enjoy spending time in her "saucey saucer" chair and play with all the little toys on it. Lily also spends time in her Bumbo chair and is starting to take bites of baby food and cereal. Generally, she is a happy and content little girl and we feel so blessed to have the opportuni
ty to be her parents. She is such a joy! :) Pictures taken at 3.5 months

Fall 2009
Hello Blog world,
I decided I wanted to start updating our posts more often. I like the idea of this blog, the idea of tracking and writing down our live and sharing it with the world. I enjoy reading about other people and what is going on in their neck of the woods. I have always enjoyed writing since I was a wee tot, so I think it is a good idea if I keep it up someway somehow. :)
Well it's October 15, 2009...man times sure flies by. Tim and I are about to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary next month and we are pretty excited about that. It's hard to believe it was just five years ago, me and Tim tied the knot! We were such kids then, it feels like. It is neat to think how much we have grown up together over the years. And I am sure we have plenty of growing to go so far... We have strived to keep God the center of our marriage, and I know He has been our strength through many though and trying tims. He is our hope, joy, and our everything. Life is just not life, without knowing Jesus. I know we have our ups and downs, but I do always know that God is with me at all times. I pray all would know God in a truely deep and personal way.
Over the past five years we have had our adventures :) We have moved I think eight times, and we are currently living in a home in Hyde Park. Our friend Elyse, hooked us up with her brother in law who is a builder, who built us a beautiful home last fall. We got to pick out everything, and so that was fun and tricky... It is neat to think that we picked out so many details, it really is OUR home. I think we are the only green house in Hyde Park.. YA! We do love green... :) Anyways, we enjoy our place and enjoy having people over to share it with.
Tim enjoys working full times as a hotel manager and part time as a Worship/Youth Leader at our church. He is a busy guy, but he loves what he does. Ministry and music is his passion. I also love my job as a Registered Nurse on the Medical floor at Logan Regional. I feel blessed to be able to help people in their time of need and I pray God will use me has His hands and feet to minister to the sick.
We love our dog Jack Sprat and our two kitties, Epi and Lucy.... Well I better go and hope to continue to update this blog :)
